of at least equal concern is whether the business is profitable, and it is probably shedding billions.. he had forecasted revenues of around $12 billion by now, but they just reported $1.6 billion (which is up from $0.23 or so, which is horrific given the projections).. this is because that $12 billion revenue projection was also projecting costs of $7 billion.. their costs are not likely lower than projections, just because.. and their user growth is anemic.. that bump in revenue might have been a windfall from sales in Ukraine or to the US government..

the business is a financial hole, whether the spectacular depreciation of assets is planned or not

around about 1980 i couldn't walk past a book store without scouring it for anything written by those guys, and of course the latest issue of the magazine itself.. but i also had a bunch of books that were collections of Don Adams, Dick DeBartolo, and Al Jaffee's stuff, i couldn't get enough..

My daughter's public school in Indiana is having "Hawaiian Day" today. That's offensive, isn't it?

I dropped her off this morning and saw girls (and boys) wearing grass skirts, some of them with coconut bras too. I’m not sure what else is going on, but it doesn’t seem very respectful of a native culture that we have seriously fucked over. Would they have a “Native American Day” and let kids come in wearing feathered...
