Well my IP isn’t on any blacklists but I can’t speak on getting whitelistred" by providers. I can send to gmail without going to spam. Idon’t generally send much email though.
Well I have some hardware colocated at a DC so I can’t speaktoo much about cost plus IP reputation. I can also only rely on individual IP blacklist checking. If MS has decided on their own to blacklist an entire subnet there isn’t much to be done about that.
My main point is that it is seemingly impossible to tell what Microsoft has and has not shit listed because may operate their own internal list which isn’t published.
I’m somewhat of the opinion though that more people should self host email and try to be a thorn in the side of these corps implementing arbitrary rules. If more people aren’t receiving email more reports about I will be generated and that will hopefully result in more people like us getting our email successfully delivered.
The only way this benefits a home owner is if they can live somewhere else for cheap or free. If you can’t do that selling is pointless.
Once things come down then I could potentially afford a second home on my income. Additionally people less financially fortunate can afford the first house (or at least see their ridiculous rent prices drop).
It will be unfortunate for people who bought at an inflated rate so naturally those people won’t be so crash happy but that’s just the nature of it. If you are someone in such a situation then selling now and paying high rent elsewhere may be a wise decision. Not that prediciting a crash is a simple task.
A good adblocker like ublock origin would bit download the ad. It is just as effective as DNS based blocking (pi-hole) with the added feature of also being able to do script blocking and cosmesic blocking.
I’ve had one for a while now and overall I’m happy with it. The screen and camera are as good as some other devices and it doesn’t support all of some bands that US providers use so service coverage may vary. I should also add that the touch sensitivity is a little off. I’m not sure if thats software or hardware to blame though.
I’m on a T-Mobile reseller and excluding situations like being inside a data center or being outside of town camping or whatever my service has been acceptable. Its also less an issue for me as in almost always in WiFi range.
I don’t think the phone is upgradable. It is repairable though. The fact that it has an easily removable battery is enough to justify the device for me as glued in dead batteries have historically been my biggest issue with device longevity.
Have you ever had an issue that you had to get support for? Whether it’s asking fairphone for help or just searching online for answers, did you have any trouble?
Hmmm. I don’t think so. I had some weird issues with audio on phone calls at one point but I think that was not due to the phone and more so due to LineageOS, a third party OS.
I worry that the disassemble-able design could make the phone less drop resistant, have you experienced that?
Well I don’t drop my phone but I also don’t feel like its construction lends it to being overall weaker. I also keep it in a case and with a screen protector on though.
