I cast on a pair of worsted weight socks because I was looking for something that required less attention than the WIPs I had next to me and because I got this Icelandic Lettlopi just to make them. I have now made it to the point where I have to pick up stitches for the gusset so it is no longer brainless again. On the other hand, I continue to be amazed at how fast it is to make socks when they only require 40 stitches! #Knitting #FiberArts #sockKnitting @knitting @fiberarts

@consumablejoy @knitting @fiberarts I love DK and worsted socks, they seem to just fly off the needles and they're so good for experimenting with techniques and shapes.
