They mess up our night vision when we pass another dickhead running white/blue lights. We mess up the habit(at) of many animals/bugs. So why not red lights? My hiking/camping headlamp has a red light...
Also, we need to be able to read and recognize traffic signs, and those are often color-coded, red having a very important meaning. With red head-lamps, all traffic signs would be red-and-black at night, great !

Thanks, this article gives more information about the basic concept. From what I understand it’s a digital wallet hosted in your phone (or another device, could be a card as well maybe?), the wallet must be loaded manually and replenish the same way, and from there the payment can take place completely offline. Sounds similar to concept already in use at small scale (e.g: during university we had our students card used like a small wallet that can be use to pay for meals, snacks and parking through out the city).

I love my Framework laptop! I have the 1st revision and it definitely has some flaws, the most critical being the battery draining. Despite that I am planning on sticking to my original plan to ungraded only when it's become necessary (probably 5 years from now or maybe more). I sure hope the company is still around and supporting the first design with new parts by then.
Like many memes, this one exists outside of the original oeuvre (movie, painting, etc). For instance, I have not see the movie it comes from, it wouldn't makes sense to me if it was the other way around.
