Good news: I challenged Adguard’s block of Infosec.exchange and they just got back to me that they corrected the misclassification

@r000t @jerry not saying it has anything to do with this, but a week or two ago I found infosec.exchange toots listed in a block list. One of the toots shared information on a malware signature.
There are dumb false positives out there

@support This might be something on my side, but I'm seeing infosec.exchange block-listed from Google Safe Browsing and possibly some other security "deny lists/block lists".

@jerry @support the transparency report is fine. https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=https:%2F%2Finfosec.exchange%2Fexplore&hl=en

I’ll check another list. Thanks for looking

@jerry @support
It might be an overly broad interpretation.
Infosec.exchange is in the Emerging Threats "ET Open" ruleset (now owned by Proofpoint)
https://rules.emergingthreats.net/OPEN_download_instructions.html

infosec.exchange/@ginkgo/109436074199108459; is in emerging-malware.rules

in emerging-phishing.rules, there is this:
infosec.exchange/@rmceoin/109604157428550003

both show up in sid-msg.map

@jerry @support And looking at the two posts, I can see why they came up. They shouldn't, but whatever Proofpoint is using to find threats isn't smart enough to understand that someone is posting hash codes for malware and phishing identifiers.
