I also managed to avoid getting it (that I’m aware of) until 2 months ago. Your symptoms sound exactly the same as what I experienced. My taste and smell have still not fully returned.

Avoid the food delivery apps if you can. Do pickup or find restaurants that do their own delivery. Those apps add a ton of extra fees and the food is often times marked up more than direct from the restaurant in addition to the fees.
Went on the apple sub yesterday and majority of people on there didn’t give a shit about the API changes and were calling the Apollo developer a whiny multi millionaire or something. Feels like the general tone has shifted a lot.
