Hi, there is a ‘Filters’ setting on the main Settings page (just below Show NSFW and above Text Size options), it accepts both text and regex (in /this/ format) and will block any post which has a title or body that contains one of the filtered words.
Ah I see. The current filter list only filters on post name or post body and not on the community name. I’ve just added last night (beta v138) a filter section for communities which I think is what you might be looking for.

Hi! Is that when scrolling through the post feed only or throughout the app (e.g. comments and profiles). Does turning off swipe actions or mark post read on scroll have any effect? (Just calling out those two as they use a bit more power). Does changing post view between cards and list view have any effect?

Hi, it will be open sourced when it’s ready. Maintaining open source software is incredibly stressful and my focus right now is on adding features and improvements so please have patience with me! I know it’s very important to some users but there are also trade-offs from my side. Right now I don’t have any overhead of maintaining a public project and I know every line of code in Connect which helps me to fix bugs quickly or add new things. It’s also nice not having anyone to blame but yourself for bugs introduced. If you’re looking to contribute code or lend your time I’d suggest going over to the main Lemmy codebase for now until Connect is ready.

I've been using Jerboa for Lemmy for my Beehaw account since the Migration. At first it worked fine. Then I started getting an error message about the version of Lemmy being used on the instance. But for the last couple of days it has been crashing immediately on opening:
