@frozencat@SocialistStan -- First off, all squares are rectangles, not all rectangles can also be squares.
The KKK is a Christian organization. You responded to NOTHING and assumed something that wasn't stated in the meme and called out how even YOU know that the KKK is a Christian organization. You told on yourself dude.
sadly I dont have anything more recent on hand, but attached is the actual data normalized properly for AGI and only looking at individuals, not corporations. AS you can see super wealthy contribute more than double, in terms of % of income, than the well-to-do middle class.
@freemo $10m and up is a huge range though. Wonder how distributed a further breakdown would show that single average number to be. That seems to be the IRS's cutoff of income bracketing as well, so probably no way to expand it more.
The question is why there is a gap and then apparent climb in percentage, and I imagine it's a combination of cost of living needs vs. donating as well the definite advantage of giving away a maximum tax deductible amount when one has it to give to reduce tax burden overall.
@jeffowski I live in one of those houses. I can’t wait to tear it down. It did have a Grove pit but we covered it over when I bought it. It’s a hexagon shaped house. Very impractical. It did have brown shag rugs brown everywhere
I attended a funeral yesterday. My ASD mind and my atheism combined to question the burial ceremonies within our multicultural world and started to think about how "The Church of Jeff" would conduct a burial ceremony.
Serious question: How would you want your funeral to run and how does that reflect your values? How does the ceremony help and effect the living left behind? What does the burial signify to future generations when their archeologists dig us up?
@jeffowski My preference would be to go with a tree pod burial - or something similar, as long as a tree was planted where I was interred. Wouldn't call for much of a ceremony, but it would be my hope that the wake would be off the hook.
