yep, people blinded by rage invest more time to flood places with their message. Sometimes with bots or multi accounts, which… well, speaks for itself how sad it is.

And also that making up facts for discussion takes less time to do than a proper argumentation

Thanks for the link. Not a bad price considering it’s lego+nintendo, may do the trick as xmas present for my partner.

Although now that I dived into the lego website I’m in love with the retro NES tv with mario, which is way too expensive 😅😭

I’ve just finished Ghost trick this week (I can recommend it if you are hesitant). 😎

Right now I’m few hours into Sea of stars, beautiful looking game, reminds me to golden sun a lot, hope it continues at this level.

When I get a break my partner steals the Switch and plays Shotgun king… I think he got very addicted to that one, if there would be a mobile phone version I’d definitely buy it for him 😄

Shotgun king has a “throne mode” where you need to pass 12 levels on a row to get some sort of ending. But to be honest it does not have a lot of story, so you can count it as endless run as well. It’s more the way of playing, where each level you pass you get to choose two random modifiers (good and bad) for the following level.

You also get additional weapons and modifiers each time you get to the ending and we haven’t yet seen all, so it has reply value and maybe an extra ending 🤷‍♀️

Shadows over loathing. I’m already with the nostalgia feeling that may end it up soon and don’t want to 😅

I’ve played that Dragon Quest few years ago and liked it a lot, hope you enjoy it :)

If you played west of loathing, this is pretty similar, but set in the 1920s. Absurd RPG both, I love them.

Has DQ12 already estimated date or something? I know DQ11 had some sort of spin off game on one of the main characters, but it did not pick my interest enough, so I haven’t played it

When I was younger, I also though I’d be cool to work in America, but once you learn a bit about their conditions, it’s a big nope. Much better lifestyle in small cities with an average salary in EU and the 23 days vacation + 13 - 14 bank holidays. Mental health checks out. 😄

About the Prod on calls, even if you “volunteer”, depending on the country and kind of job, they have to paid those “on call” hours even if there’s no calls at the end, and if there’s work required, the pay is higher.

I’m like you, I wouldn’t exchange my free time no matter what. 🤘

I’d say movies and tv series are the blame to the youth wish to live there… who hasn’t dreamed to be in the NY of “Friends” per example?

Then you start thinking that they had huge apartments and were almost never working and that doesn’t match with reality 🤣

sounds like illegal indeed, you could’ve sue them to the work administration or whatever there is in the UK (I’ve worked there, but never had any issues on the working department… there’s so little unemployment that if you’re unhappy just go somewhere else 🤷‍♀️)

Yep, Western Europe, Spain more precisely. 23 days holidays but at least in my sector it is counting that the working days are Monday - Friday (meaning that you don’t need to include Saturdays in the counting).

Then 13 - 14 bank holidays. And then in my sector an extra 2 days for “personal matters”, like going to the doctor or bank or paperwork appointment.

I keep saying “in my sector” as I work in a normal office job, but teachers or other jobs may have more or differently distributed

Take the chance now to stablish rules for screenshots AND not allowing comics at the same time (I understand that it’s what you meant by “cartoons”, right?)

There is a community already for the latter here: !comics and if people like screenshots so much they can already create their own, as you said (def wont be joining that one myself 😅)
