Continuing “overcoming your blockers” week in - what tips and tricks do you have to share with fellow crafters on getting projects done? People said they get distracted by shiny object syndrome, hate sewing, get stuck on sleeve island, give up the second sock… put a project down when they hit a tough spot and forget about it, get busy, etc. What do you do to get over what holds you back? @knitting @fiberarts

@consumableJoy @knitting @fiberarts I try to do a couple rows every day, no matter what. It's on my daily list there with working out and making my bed. Even if I only have 10 minutes, I try to do it every day. That way it stays part of my daily life, my routine, so when I have more time, doing 30-60 min or work doesn't seem unusual.

Holy crap. I mean, really?!?

“However, the updated booster is not intended for everyone. It’s for people in high-risk groups – those who are age 75 or older, pregnant or immunocompromised, said Offit, who serves on the FDA’s expert panel that reviewed the vaccine companies’ data... The general public should not expect to need to receive the latest COVID booster, Offit said.”

@rochelle @augieray This is completely insane. The terrifying take home lesson from our response is that our public health industry is way more interested in playing eleven dimensional chess with itself than actually preventing disease.
