Has anyone started to create some form of ‘Copy’ Project for Reddit, Not like a clone of the site or something. I’m more thinking of a project that’s goal is to almost duplicate what Reddit currently has on it directly to Lemmy or other Fediverse platforms?

Recently, Reddit announced that they may be discontinuing awards/coins on September 12. However I'm skeptical and I think this may be just a deceptive announcement for them to make a quick buck from awards/coins. What are your opinions on this?
I feel that Reddit needs to be less greedy with money, it seems like some of the community has jumped skip to Fediverse based projects such as Lemmy and Kbin as others seem to get stuck not wanting to lose there Karma & Awards and it’s sick that Reddit is trying to keep them onboard. I really do hope they take Rewards away as that’s one less thing for Redditors to want to hold onto keeping them on the platform.
Amazing to see, as I look further into these platforms such as Lemmy and Mastodon I love them more and more as they seem to be so much more freeing than current mainstream platforms on the market.
I feel META getting into the Fediverse platform is a great idea, brings it to the masses more easily. We just need to make sure META doesn’t take control of it as everyone should be able to use the platform they wish to use.
I agree, even know META has done really good with Threads I love what everyone is doing with the Fediverse and it needs to continue without a large tech giant swallowing it.
I’m trying to create a community on Lemmy.world but it seems to not want to let me click the create button after filling in everything, Is this a error or is it because I am new to it?

Lemmy + Kbin Just Surpassed 500,000 Total Users (i.imgur.com)
I don't get people that are here in the fediverse and *want to bring over* the content that is on FB, IG, TikTok, etc.
This has come to mind because all the chatter about Meta federating....
In the current ongoing debate of federation with Meta Threads

It's night and it's an emergency! The Joker is loose! Gotham needs Batman. But there isn't a cloud in the sky. How does Commissioner Gordon summon him?
Assuming he doesn’t have a red phone line directly to Batman like in the old TV show, obviously.
