It’s a horror experience/game, very short at that, like 30 min or so. And afaik literally no replayability.

Imo, 8 $ is abit stretching it, but it’s a free market.

Maybe it’s just me, but open worlds have been quite tiring for quite a while.

Near infinite playing field is a cool concept, but the size is irrelevant if there’s nothing to do in the field, what’s the point? Having meaningful content evenly accross the stupendously huge field is a challenge. While I could scale a mountain for hours, it begs the question “why?”.

I can already scale kilometers deep craters and equally tall mountains in Elite Dangerous, but there’s just literally nothing there… well, apart from the occasional crafting material or whatever, but those aren’t exclusive to those locations afaik.

…huh, I thought “Flashback 2” was released years ago, but that one seems to have been a remake/re-imagining of sorts of the original. And that one was pretty bad as well, it seems.

And wasn’t Fade to black more or less a sequel to Flashback as well? Seems like the Flashback sequels/remakes are fairly cursed… weird.

I do have fond memories of the original, though. Kinda disappointing there isn’t really a worthwhile follow up to it.

well, if you add a game to a scenery project, it’s a game! Easy! :P

All kidding aside, I don’t mean to rain on the parade, but these “X in UE5” are dime a dozen stuff on youtube, basically just harvesting views for a game/remake that’ll never be. Some of them have bit more effort put into them than others, sure, but basically none of them are even remotely close to being anything more than pretty graphics demo made by a single person.

edit: oh, derr. took the 4090 results, but they are pretty much identical for the 7900xt on the “very low”, and few fps lower on the “high” preset.

my main team is me (thiefling bard, i.imgur.com/3AewyHO.png (ended up leaving the moustache out, though)), Astarion, Gale and Karlach. I switch any of them momentarily if I need something specific the others can do and immediately back when it’s done.

I guess I could swap out Gale for Wyll, but… I dunno.

Karlach and Astarion are my favorites so far. “Mama K” just radiates good vibes, and “Mr. Nibbles” brings out the sass… and I just realized I’m traveling with a dog and a cat.

Fairly common to use en/us-layouts with highend mechanical keybards, as parts for those are more readily available.

But outside of the mech keebs or other niches, yea, people use the regional keyboard variants. Because it’s just easier if you can see the weirdo ümlâuts/etc regional characters on the keycaps when you’re not a touch typist. Over here (finland) it’s actually pretty hard to even get ansi/us layout keyboard unless you really go about your way and seek one out, basically all keyboards in stores are fin/swe iso layout. I’d assume the same is true to most euro countries.

oh wow. I have preonic, but I’ve more or less given up on learning to type with it. It’s way too narrow. I like the concept but a split ortho would be better, as I wouldn’t have to “hunch down” on it so much.

Its pretty close, but ideally I’d want to have it fit fin/swe layout without using modifiers to type ö and ä, and have them more or less where they’d be on normie layout. (I can live without å, so that already gives 1 key more leeway).

So far pretty much no ortho split allows this, I think. Unless I move enter key to the thumb keys or so. But then again that might be the default for eego/split keebs anyway, I dunno.

Going to have to read up on these a bit more.

Now, admittedly I haven’t tried it yet, but apparently onepagerules is an option, free one too. You can use wh40k figurines in it just fine

but what about programmers with problems hearing? An alternative of webcam video with sign language, pantomime and subtitles is needed!

edit: OOH! Use AI to generate the sign language videos. Could be wild, considering how good AI is at drawing hands.

It can’t carry, but it can throw stuff from the ground. Came useful in one side quest.

Other than that, used it few times to pull a lever or such. Nothing terribly handy (sorry, not sorry)

Kinda leaning on the theory it might be a druid who wants some bovine action, or something equally weird, and thats why they won’t speak up on what they are up to.
