Vaush is a dip shit reactionary debate streamer who gets called a leftist because he uses the aesthetic of anarchism. Simps for the CIA, says he’s “building a new left without mentally ill crybabies” and says he means gay and trans people.
Can you actually define tenderqueer or is that just some signifier like woke and sjw? These are terms that have very little real meaning and just get thrown around to dismiss people for being loud. Vaush has said many transphobic things over the years and always just doubles down afterwards instead of actually listening to trans people. It would be different if he didn’t have tweets about how his trans friends get too mad over being misgendered over text, but he does. If that’s all that is required for vaush to consider you a tenderqueer, then its a signifier for queer people vaush doesn’t like to dismiss their feelings while claiming to be an ally of trans people. It’s the same type of toxic ranting right wingers do on trans people and SJWs, except they don’t lie about it.
Look, I’ve already been through my debate bro phase, I was even in debate in high school during it. Going into the conversation with the goal to be right isn’t constructive, especially when you don’t have any specific advocacies besides for just your beliefs. Dunks/owns are performative more than anything, they’re a display of superiority over the stupid opponent. It doesn’t advance anybody’s thinking, it is inherently stagnant because both people have advocacies to defend and will not give them up. This works well with strong original thinkers like Zizek and Peterson (don’t like Peterson, not saying his thoughts are any good but he’s definitely a thinker) but a debate is only as valuable as the actual thinkers themselves. Vaush doesn’t really change his worldview unless he’s just reacting to the world around him, he isn’t a right winger, but he is a reactionary. Vaush might shift people a little to the left and that’s kinda cool, but he doesn’t challenge them to actually think about their beliefs. It’s just giving them a more palatable set of paint.
Vaush is not a voice for trans rhetoric. Even if he wasn’t talking about trans people in this clip, calling people subhuman is inherently problematic Dehumanization is the base of bigotry..
It’s so cruel, and I honestly think bashing tenderqueers should be grounds for an instance ban. Being the trans safe space instance and all, I care far more about the tenderqueers than the debate bros who like the memes.

I’m not Christian anymore, but the modern bible never “disowns” the old testament. Maybe there were books written around Jesus’ time that got eradicated with the gnostics. It’s just the first real event of a movie to happen since COVID. Huge, vibrant production targeted at the 20-30 age group. It also popped up fairly organically. There have been memes of people getting dressed up to go to the movies like minions, but Barbie was the first movie where I saw it pop up through people excited through the movie. That’s a good indicator for whether something should be marked NSFW or not. If showing the image to someone could be considered workplace harassment, you should probably mark it NSFW. The lines are pretty blurred, but it’s just marking a post so it’s better to air in the side of caution.
On Reddit, there used to be r/19684 for a non-horny 196 so it mattered less because the people that didn’t like the horniness had a separate space. I’m down for a good hornypost, but I also recognize that we’re now sharing a space with people who made an entire different subreddit to avoid the hornyposting. Especially with how touchy or painful sex as a topic can be to some people, I think it’s just important to be cognisant of our posting on a platform with no algorithm where every one of our posts are initially equal in visibility.

Watermark does a lot for spreading websites. iFunny and 9Gag should not have had the staying power they had in the ages they did, they were pretty much entirely propped up by their watermarks. Unintrusive stuff like transparent logos with a link are cool. As long as the purpose of the watermark is for the image to actually be shared rather than lock it into the site, it’s effective.

As far as energy drinks go, I generally lean towards red bull or c4 depending on the task. Red Bull has the most magnesium I’ve seen from an energy drink, so the caffeine isn’t as unbearably buzzy. C4 is just better for anything seriously physical though
