Valve's compatibility rating for Steam Deck doesn't even try to be accurate anymore... Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't run well on the Steam Deck, it's okay... you can't support every devices but be honest!

If a game hypes a lot of people up, it will be verified. That’s like, the most important factor… not even the performance, the controls, etc…...

Daydreamy,

I agree. The 3 ratings we have now are relatively useless:

  • Unverified
  • Playable but boo hoo you need to use the Steam+X keyboard for 1 minute to input your character name
  • Playable

Give us some actually helpful ratings please. I have to Google every title as it is.

Daydreamy,

Just to let you know, while you are adding to the conversation in some ways, in many ways you are distracting from it. I know you likely have good intentions, but you have pivoted completely away from the original ask and are muddying the waters of the conversation a little with the additional input in the complete opposite direction.

The twitch integration may have nice features but the OP, myself, and likely many others don’t care and just want to play our game in peace without constant studio specific launchers and accounts and etc. Bringing twitch integration up makes now us focus on that as the discussion point rather than the clearly user antagonistic features such as lack of a button to skip creating an account.

Daydreamy,

I had no skip button.

It’s not as clear cut as you might think.

What games have you played in the last 365 days that stand out to you as the most memorable experiences?

I think the most common answer is going to be Tears of the Kingdom, and that is one for me that stands out for sure, but I will try to add some more unique inputs as well. Many are games that came out longer than a year ago, but i didnt get around to playing until more recently....

Daydreamy,

If you love slay the spire check out the actually multi-player across the obelisk

Daydreamy,

You should become accustomed to having multiple accounts, ones for different instances, because this is the fediverse and essentially just semi-interlinked forums. If you want forum specific content that is generally considered spicy, go to that forum directly rather than complain that every other forum not handle your need for spicy content in an effective way for all parties.

This isnt some faceless megacorp. You are so used to one source for all your content due to reddit, but you should not expect one instance to provide you with all your desired content. Can you imagine how many man hours need to be put into effectively handling spicy content, across all instances? Or, you can just go to the spicy content forums.

Yes, there is a need for better handling multiple accounts seamlessly, its definitely under development in several apps. In the meantime it's just something to deal with.

📢Entire mod team on r/mildlyinteresting (and more subs) removed and locked out of their accounts after changing their rules upon community's request. (They're also switching subs BACK to SFW) (kbin.social)

EDIT: GO DM MODS OF YOUR FAVORITE SUBREDDITS AND POLITELY ASK ABOUT MIGRATION!: something as simple as "Hey, I love this community but I no longer use reddit, will you guys be making a community on Kbin or other alternatives? Let me know please, thanks." will work!! We need more voices encouraging migration!...

Daydreamy,

You're a mod. Post a sticky addressing it or use a third party tool to handle these things.

You have every right to keep your community on whatever platform but don't shame people because they are mobilizing others and it causes you inconvenience. The issue isn't the users, nor the people messaging you, if you want to be mad at someone it is Reddit that is causing you grief.
