Bluebanrigh,

Me too, when people recommend me tv shows.

On paper they’re series that I would like, but the recommendations years old and I still haven’t watched them.

Bluebanrigh,

Me too! I wonder if my parents still have stored somewhere.

I can still see clearly in my mind the panel where he’s sunning himself in Las Vegas.

Father Christmas goes on holiday by Raymond Briggs

Modern or historical? Do you know what authors she enjoyed in the past?

Penny Reid’s Winston Brothers series I recall being light hearted.

Bluebanrigh,

Maybe just the first couple of books, the second to last book deals with domestic abuse (father to son). I think they allude to off screen in the earlier books as background details.

Sorry, I remembered more of the series as I was scrolling through my read books.

Oh, there’s Kate Clayborn’s Beginners Luck. Contemporary with a little home reno thrown in. That was very sweet, no violence.

Bluebanrigh,

I think the rights reverted back to the author.

I’d love for Temeraire to be a series, in my head I had Tom Hiddleston as Laurence but he might be aging out as well. Though Richard Armitage would also have been awesome.

All I can think is that it would cost a boatload of money. Boats, war and dragons.

I’d watch it as an animated series, then it wouldn’t matter how old Armitage or Hiddleston were.

Bluebanrigh,

I don’t know how long ago that was for you, but I hope you don’t feel like that anymore.

FWIW 22 seems awful young to be having kids.
