What video game have you played the most, that you think is garbage and no one else should ever play?

I have played Eve Online so many hours, and it’s a bad game. Don’t do it. you will spend hundreds of hours dreaming about the cool thing you’ll do later, but for 99% of players the cool thing will never happen. You will be part of the one percent’s cool thing....

AzPsycho,

Elite: Dangerous.

Hell of a good space trucker sim. If you like spending 2 hours managing your ship before making a 6 system jump only to dock and do it all over again.

AzPsycho,

You mean fuel scoop. Nothing worse than making jumps with a full tank only to get to your destination and realize you forgot to equip a fuel scoop. Better hope they have a fuel scoop you can afford that also doesn’t take forever to refuel!

I saw the impact of them siloing their user base yesterday when a trade was made for one of my sports teams. The news broke on Twitter and I heard about it on a local radio show. I tried to find it in the news but I couldn’t. I don’t use Twitter so I wasn’t able to see any info on the trade for another 2 hours until local news and other services started to confirm and replicate the Twitter post.

It’s incredibly short sighted of them to do this.

AzPsycho,

The problem with algorithms is that they drive you into silos without you even realizing it. They always start out as very helpful but then turn against the user unintentionally. In all honesty the best thing FB, Twitter, etc could do is allow you to completely turn it off. That way you can take a break from the silo to see the normal world. It’s why serves like Reddit and Lemmy are working so well. You can go to a community and see similar stuff posted or go to the all pages and see shit you didn’t even know existed.

Saw the post about Apollo going offline and someone added the info for wefwef. Preregistered for Boost but so far wefwef is working great.

Edit: meant to write Boost not Apollo.

AzPsycho,

I come seeking refuge from the shit storm that is reddit leadership.
