The opening of #FairPlay was intriguing, but only for that awkwardly amusing cunnilingus incident. I lost interest as soon it shifted to an oblivious hedge fund workplace drama and turned it off.
"yet Fair Play wants us to believe that the problems of high finance are the problems for women everywhere."
Today's indie author review! Repairing Destiny" by Geneva Vand:
"A delightful story set in a fantasy kingdom. ... For adult readers the plot might seem flimsy, but I found myself wanting to read on and thoroughly enjoyed the experience."
I open the guest room door
as violent winds pummel the inn.
Lightning illuminates the blood
dripping onto the floor.
I shiver in fear.

Are the Penobscot Indians friends or foes?
If enemies, Elizabeth doesn't want it to be so.
But would she rather have enemies within her friends?
I don't believe so.
I #read One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. I don’t know what to say about this #book. It’s #romance. It’s F/F & trans-friendly. It’s a weird cross between mystery & ghostly & time travel & a NY subway. I absolutely had to know how it ended because the plot is definitely unexpected. I struggled a little with the style/voice, but a great diversion during a hard week. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️#reading#books@romancebooks @romancelandia https://amzn.to/46RlXXT
I #read Kincaid by Marie James (#book 1/Cerberus MC). This is a rescue from an abusive relationship by a veteran MC President. (“A club. Not a gang.”) Expected issues relating to jealousy & club life. I liked it but probably wouldn’t repeat. #reading#romance#books#romancebooks#romancelandia@romancebooks
