I first The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics by Olivia Waite in Feb 2020 when I had a mystery virus that put me to bed for a week. I can only plead illness for giving it only 4⭐️ in GR. This week, I bought the . I’ve now revised to a perfect 5⭐️ - a perfect F/F . In addition to the , it dives into access & equity debates of women’s & 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ rights. @romancebooks @bookstodon

I Wicked Prince by Laylah Roberts ( 3/New Orleans Malones) over the last 2 nights. This slow-burn, relatively sweet (until near the end) is somehow spanking/kinky as well. TW for childhood trauma, assault, and sexy feet. @romancebooks

Nigeria Jones by Ibi Zoboi is a contemporary young adult book featuring a young girl who is trying to spread her wings after a great trauma. We watch Nigeria grow from the beginning of the book until the end. It was such a rewarding experience watching Nigeria throughout the story. Recommend for all readers. Was a 5/5 for me.

The public library I used to work at hosted a couple events where children got to read to dogs from the shelter. I forget the organization's name, but I knew about it since college. It was one of most popular scheduled programs even though the children's department did smell of dog for a while.

A huge thanks and shoutout to Coy Hall for taking the time to read and review "Shards" on Goodreads!

It's always a thrill to know that someone has enjoyed something I've created but it's also quite special when that comes from a fellow author.

I #read One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. I don’t know what to say about this #book. It’s #romance. It’s F/F & trans-friendly. It’s a weird cross between mystery & ghostly & time travel & a NY subway. I absolutely had to know how it ended because the plot is definitely unexpected. I struggled a little with the style/voice, but a great diversion during a hard week. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️#reading #books @romancebooks

#MiddleGrade #BookRec this morning.

The Witch Boy trilogy by Molly Knox Ostertag is a fun graphic novel series about a boy witch in a family where only girls can be witches. It follows the MC as he navigates friendships, family dynamics, mysteries, and witchcraft. The three books are: The Witch Boy, The Hidden Witch, and The Midwinter Witch. Perfect for ages 8-13 or any fan of graphic novels.
