Post-punk is a reaction to the punk movement of the 70s - 80s. It features more elaborate production, depressive themes and gothic instrumentation (often angular and sharp). This genre is one of my absolute favorites.
Glad to find a cheap copy of this classic. Was a big Squirrel Bait fan and was impressed where they went with Slint and other projects after the breakup.
