Given the lack of manpower and the means to compensate for the lack of manpower in this region, Ukrainians may have plenty of opportunities for advancement.
Allegedly Putin wants to make do with the forces they have, without a new mobilization round until after the Russian election in March.
We can hope this will give Ukraine an opportunity to weaken the Russian positions and defenses they’ve build up for over a year now.
