Documents show Putin’s order to move superyacht before Ukraine invasion

A new investigation reveals that the ship was towed out of Hamburg, Germany on 7 February en route to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad. Just 15 days later – on 22 February – Putin ordered the full-blown invasion of Ukraine. After the invasion, the US, UK and EU imposed sanctions on Russian-owned assets overseas, and dozens of oligarch-owned superyachts were seized across the world.

Ukraine should sniff out its current location in Kaliningrad and send a few drones just for spite. If Ukraine can hit inside Russia as far in as Pskov and Moscow, it’s at least plausible.

c0c0c0,

There might be complications from sending drones through allied airspace.

Yeah, well, that was one of the hundreds of indicators intelligence services used to yell from the rooftops that Russia was about to invade and those "military drills" they were supposedly having at the border were a cover.

Remember, before they invaded, this "military drill" bullshit was going on at the Ukraine border for weeks on end.

cassetti,

Pretty sure anyone paying attention even on the internet knew Russia was about to invade. Remember when US Intelligence warned the exact day Russia planned to invade.... only for Russia to wait a few days to spite the US Intelligence (which hopefully gave the UA a few extra days to get ready)
