I am currently getting signed out every minute from lemmy.world. This is not a client side cache issue. I tested making API calls from the command line (with curl) with no cache and the issue still occurs. One call I get the correct response, the next I get a 400 telling me im not signed in....
I’ve had a look at the documentation and it says you have to press the 3 dots to the right side of somebody’s post to add them as moderator, but I only see two options and not all the options that stated in the documentation....
There are a few regional ones that I’m sure some would love to see thriving, but I’d personally like to see an active SexOver30 community for those of us who are not spring chickens anymore. I know others have been removed for similar behavior.
It’s an adjustment phase, but I’ve been here for a few minutes and already I like Lemmy better than Reddit. The entire format is just better put together. It feels like the old internet, where you could just shoot info back and forth without the rigamarole. I’m still not sure how every feature works, mind. Anyone out there...
Right now, 2FA is half-baked. You can enable it and it gives you a link to sync it to an authenticator app, which only works on mobile. But there’s no confirmation required to enable it, so you may think it’s working with your code but it doesn’t take. This will lock people out of accounts....
I am unable to find or see a community that I started on lemm.ee here @ .world. When I joined both instances I created the same community on each not knowing much about the fediverse.
I’m using Google Chrome (up-to-date), on lemmy.world if that helps. I’d like to make a community but when I fill out the information and click the create button it does nothing. No loading icon, no error message. I thought maybe its just being slow so I let it sit there for 10 minutes and still nothing. Am I doing something...
So I still get “email not verified” error in Liftoff and I’m unable to log in in Jerboa or wefwef. Are all the new users supposed to not access lemmy.world on smartphones? I even tried to sub communities here with an account from another instance, but Liftoff just won’t let me for some reason so I gave up.
tl;dr: This concerns the account I’m writing this from. I logged in on my PC (Windows 10, Vivaldi browser) with “Password reset” a few days ago and I stay logged in, but I cannot log in through apps or on mobile, Liftoff says my email is not verified....
Title pretty self explainatory. My password manager added a space to the end of my username that made the login and signup pages hang when I submitted. Removed the space and they worked again
I have been trying to subscribe to the lemmy.ml asklemmy community at lemmy.ml which has around 21k+ subscribers. however by searching !asklemmy it points me to a community with same name but only 6k+ subscribers. Are they actually the same thing? Thanks
I’ve been getting most of the mod related messages in one of the communities I moderate since I’m the one listed first. However, I would prefer that all moderators receive the message and any replies rather than just me....
