That might be because you’re on another instance, which would have mirrors of all our federated content. As of now, the mentioned community does not exist on lemmy.world.

Absolutely. You can also notify your instance admins to remove or purge the community, if that would make your user experience better. Removals won’t federate.
Hello, as the moderator of said forum i’d like to know what was bad-faith behaviour and repeated hateful content, and why this wasn’t brought up to the moderators of our forum by the administrators of this site before a removal of our forum. Thank you.
Is it standard procedure to arbitrarily remove communities on this site without even notifying the moderators of the community? Let alone giving an example of whatever was the cause for the ban?
This isn’t Reddit. No Lemmy instance proclaims itself a free speech site, and your community exists only at the pleasure of the instance operators. If you feel hard done by the instance operators, your recourse is to make your own Lemmy instance rather than whine about being OMGETEHSCENS0RZED!

Kinda shocked it’s allowed to exist here. Certainly makes me wonder about the admins, unfortunately. It’s not a new community, and I have called them out before. Idk what the hold up is.
Calm down, things take time and it's not always about being allowed. The fediverse is small, volunteer-driven and fairly immature, people can only get to malicious content as quickly as they can.
