My coffee breath off-sets my garlic breath so I’m good.

theKalash,

They inventet toothbrushes again?

k_rol, (edited )

In summary, they found fat and proteins reduce the smell. The experiment was using yogurt in this case.

Since eating fat yogurt is not great, Greek yogurt could be a good solution.

TheFerrango,

Brush your teeth and wash your mouth after eating garlic, scientists say

Preposterous!

frog,

I thought the solution was going to be “stop eating garlic”.

You’ve got my vote.

frog,

I actually like garlic! But I hate onion, so I would happily give up garlic if it also means onion can be permanently banned too.

I like onions. But if you’d give up your garlic, I’d have to balance it out and do away with them. It’s only fair.

frog,

A perfectly reasonable compromise. :)

prole,

Food would be so boring without garlic or onions.

I have food without garlic.

It’s not boring at all.

Jains don’t think so either.

theKalash,

Never!

CmdrShepard,

That doesn’t help with the garlic burps though. I’ve heard drinking mouthwash can help, especially when you’re going through alcohol withdrawals, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
