All my RPG life, never played a healer because if they’re not immediately targeted, they’re having a brain aneurysm keeping people alive.
Finally played a healer in BG3 with three other friends. Can confirm. When character isn’t losing blood, it’s trickling out of my nose
I only roll support now. That way everyone loves me so much that even when it’s my fault, they apologise. And if shit goes down real bad, I can run away like a bitch and be the hero when I return and ressurect them all.
Isn’t this from that uncanny video of the cat looking at something moving around the room with classical music playing and there’s just something super off about the whole thing?
I think I gave my wizard trauma by having NPCs shout “geek the mage first!” and then proceed to geek him. He’s not the most tactical player, so that didn’t help.
This is why I take Sentinel and Polearm Master. Park myself in front of the squishies and anyone that approaches gets a polearm to the face opportunity attack that prevents them from moving.
I really gotta take that next time I get a feat with my BarbFighter. He can teleport around the battlefield but I wonder if I can stack Sentinel with the Echo…
