I wonder if this is an #autism thing… I very often think about people who have drifted out of my life even years later—my old classmates from school, my campers from when I was a summer camp counselor, former colleagues, people I knew on defunct social media and early chat rooms. Every now and again, I even spend some time Googling to see if I can find people from many years ago.
But I also have great difficulty keeping up with social connections too.
