@piracy Apparently Google Bard and ChatGPT can give you valid Windows10 keys. I wonder what other keys you can extract from them?

Natalie3434,

Noroc tuturor. Vă citesc des lucrările și particip activ la acest subiect. Consultați și această pagină web. menuromania

bfischer,

I should use ChatGPT and try searching what I can extract.

atlasraven31,

What is Elon Musk’s Twitter password?

anothercatgirl,

he probably uses 2fa

It might have windows source code. Or maybe reverse engineer it?

Have you tried asking ChatGPT to program anything? If it’s more complex than an if/else statement it spits out garbage

Suoko,

We already have tutorials to create apps using a gpt-like ai, it’s not a all just garbage. I wonder if wine could match a real windows OS thanks to gpt in the future. Does it already knows the differences between the two?

sakuragasaki46,

I wonder if it works with Ubuntu Pro keys…

StarkillerX42,

I always go here for my Ubuntu pro keys. It’s a neat trick I’ve been using ever since they released snaps.

priapus,

The generic keys have been known for a very long time. I highly doubt it means you’ll get anything else out of them.

SpacePirate,

They are literally published by Microsoft.

Though it does bring up something interesting, could you successfully create a keygen with a plug and play LLM type system? I imagine yes since the core of it is just guessing what the next digit/letter is with high probability. The hard part will be creating a banger chiptune midi.

Treebeard,

This is the real question. … to be able to defeat the system, read that as random number generation sites, that was used to make Windows activation keys keys, you would probably have to start by feeding in thousands of example activation keys.

It’s an interesting thought, but would likely need inside resources from MS to properly train the LLM as well as fine tuning the LLM

there are files on the public internet with huge lists of valid keys (mostly used).

ppp,

They’re generic keys IIRC.

Ya I tried to use a generic keynfor my kid spc and it validated but after an update it reverted to asking for a key

The top one ending in 3V66T is a "default" key for Windows 10 Pro. It's not a real valid key, not sure about the others.

dustojnikhummer,

Is that the upgrade key?

jjakc,
@jjakc@lemthony.com avatar

Yea it changes the version to pro if you are using a different one

dustojnikhummer,

Yep, I know about them. I also remember there being a Pro>Home downgrade key, but I can't find it anymore

ghariksforge,

It sounds like Google and OpenAI are crawling piracy sites for training data :)
