There’s been a lot of controversy lately surrounding the protest actions over on r/place but having never been there myself I don’t understand what the purpose of the subreddit was originally, or why protesting users chose that specific subreddit to utilize, a breif explanation would be much appreciated ✌️

I don’t use TikTok at all, but I do watch compilation videos on YouTube sometimes. Lately there are some clips of livestreams of people doing really repetitive movements and phrases. What’s up with that?

I’ve seen headlines about actors/actresses protesting about stuff. The same goes for other creative talent in the entertainment industry. What’s going on there? What are their demands? What fueled these protests all of a sudden?

The only tweet I could find in articles was something like the owner telling people the real reason why he can’t play. The article said it had since been deleted.
