Saw this at the base of a 300 year old oak.
Will it be ok on the bottom shelf of my indoor greenhouse? Tropical plants have been happy there.
I was wondering if these were edible or not.

This is the same stump as the sprouting Mycelium.
Nvm. These are wooly oak galls. I tried deleting the post, but Jerboa won’t let me. Mods, you can remove if you want.

Interesting fungus. Sadly full of maggots as you can see in the photo, so nothing for the dehydrator today.
So my two bags of pink oysters, which haven’t appeared to be doing much on anything, have suddenly pinned right behind the air vent on both bags. The first picture is a bunch of little guys like I expected it to start out as, but the second bag is one massive stem as wide as the cap! For reference, the air vent patch black...
