So I asked my trans care doctor about ffs and set up an appointment with the surgeon over a year ago, going over what could happen, what to expect, his methodology, etc. The surgeon I saw does it in a 3 phase manner: top, bottom, and then the middle to allow even healing. Made sense to me. This also worked with my life since I had minimal PTO to take and was worried about taking long term breaks from roller derby. The forehead was done first in April of this year.
