Chickenstalker, Why read reviews. Simply go to the kinoplex and watch movies. Sometimes they’re good. Often they’re bad. So, pick movies in the genre that you like. You can’t tell a movie is good if you never watched a bad movie.
appelkooskonfyt, It’s expensive in my country.
Psyduck_world, Expensive is a problem, another is it’s time consuming. If you only have time for one movie in cinema per week, you couldn’t afford to waste on conjuring 15 or superheroes copy pasta.

ImpulsiveEye, In this case, “under fire” is news media speak for “shines light on problem” and the problem is Rotten Tomatoes, like so many other online review systems, are highly subject to manipulation agendas and should never be taken at face value. Dick_Justice, Online reviews have notoriously been heavily gamed bullshit for years. I don’t know why anyone would think that movie reviews are somehow spared from the fakes/manipulation.
EricHill78, I knew something was up when I saw the rating for You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah. It ranked higher than Shawshank Redemption. Let that sink in for a minute.

magnetosphere, (edited ) “Relevant” as in deeply meaningful? No. “Relevant” as in superficially important and profitable? Absolutely.
