Similar position here. I used to develop many years ago but I’d be slightly rusty now. Currently work in cyber security where I help people protect their privacy so I’m familiar with ways that privacy is broken. Just getting a non-VPN / non-Tor IP address would result in an arrest for example.
Much like yourself I don’t have a huge amount of free time but this is something I would devote effort to if it would help. I have kids, like lemmy and hate these fucks.
