I would like to be able to export the settings I have for Connect so in case I ever have to reinstall this app I can restore all the settings I had for it instead of redoing everything manually.

I often vote/save/hide posts by accident so I turned off global swipe actions, however I noticed I can still swipe on posts.
As a former user of RiF, one thing I used a lot was filtering out media / sites I don’t want to hear from, places I don’t trust etc....
I shared a post on lemmy.world with someone today, but the post url was slrpnk.net/post/1690717. Is this maybe because the person who posted it has their account there?
My phone coverage stopped for a period. I was using connect at the time and a comment failed. I initially thought it was a big but noted after restarting, it still was out. Then I checked with a test search to find it was all internet....
Sketchy when it just says whatever and then goes to some random site. Could literally be anything on the other end.
I like everything else about the app, but it’s frustrating not to be able to set my subscriptions as the default feed.
This is just a super nice to have: Custom plugin support. ie: Something to think about during this stage of development as this app matures further....
Would be cool to have the option to still see posts I’ve seen in the relevant community, but hide them from the feeds

If it is possible I would like to have an option when i block an instance to only block communities or to block communities and comments made by people on that instance....
When I try to reply to comments via the swipe gestures the whole screen gets moved to the left. If I go back with the back button it shortly shows the comment editor or however it is called and then exits the post.https://files.catbox.moe/9salpq.jpg
upload fields not cleared when cursor is not in an image link. When writing a comment with multiple images the image dialog shows the previous url and title. For me it’s quite confusing....
I’ve requested this feature before, but I think it would be helpful in filtering out those spam posts that I’m sure we’ve all seen by new users promoting either products on Amazon or various medical drugs. The posts themselves seem to pretty quickly get downvoted heavily but since I browse almost exclusively by New, they...
Hi, I’ve just been responding to feedback and implementing suggestions and release 141 is just that. Large new features are in-app release notes, customization for comment long-press actions, and community filters. Alongside a dozen smaller fixes, additions, and optimizations....
Not something I’ve seen even in a reddit app before. So the first of its kind I’ve encountered....
Thanks for all the hard work, and at an incredible rate too!
Reddit, and it’s clients, have had the ability to suggest a title from the destination URL. According to several GitHub issues, Lemmy also has this ability. Connect should surface this functionally in the post-creation UX.
When scrolling through posts, user will lose the top bar in the UI when scrolling through top level posts and in subs. Statically setting it allows quick reference to the sub, sorting, searching and other functions in the context menu....
