I had an account on an instance that went down. Is there any way to easily request for it to be removed from search results, or is it just going to be stuck in perpetual existence forever on other instance caches?
I usually browse Lemmy hot and just block any communities I don’t find interesting. As I understand it, the blocking seems to be done by your instance. So is there a maximum number of communities a user can block on the instance side? And what is it?...
I was trying to work out why it is that when I receive a notification and I click “view context” nothing happens if the msg came from lemmy.world. The screen blinks for a second but gives no prior posts. Well after digging into this, I see that #lemmyWorld has just recently joined the exclusive #walledGarden of Cloudflare....

I’m getting an error when trying to access the PC master race community on lemmy.world “couldnt_find_community”. I can’t even read my own comments on there. Strange, considering as far as I know we haven’t defederated from .world. Anybody know how I can fix this or should I message the admins?
I’m trying to figure out how to pull posts that I have saved into my RSS reader. I grabbed the RSS link from the saved posts page of my profile and added it to my RSS reader but nothing comes across except for my actual posts. I can’t seem to figure it out and feel I’m missing something completely obvious as it can’t be...
I’ve reinstalled lemmy several times and after I went public with my instance, I figured out federation is broken for those posts with a low id, because those posts got federated and after reinstall, they have been ghost data and no sync happened....
