Heh fun theme. Not too keen on trying a literal “Dessert with split peas” or “Salad dressing with chopped liver”.
As Chris Remo said, these are clues reminiscent of cryptic crosswords.
Got stuck at 32A and 46D unfortunately. It’s always 1-2 clues that I’m completely unaware of that break my streaks.
answer spoilers (including Mini)___ Lots of butt stuff today. Both the mini and regular crossword had ASS.
coys25, Yeah, I had never heard of cryptic crosswords until the post here a little while ago. I read a bit about them then, and that was the first thing that came to my mind with this puzzle!
