Anyone familiar with BC's OSS stuff can recommend a way to contribute?

Today I remembered that bcgov’s GitHub has a lot of active repositories, many in TypeScript which is within my skillset, so I’m wondering if I can get my fix of meaningful work submitting a few PRs.

There is a lot of activity in there but I’m wondering if they’re receptive to PRs and if there are a specific repos that are in special need or are good places to make a first contribution.

I’m curious too! The repos are open, and I think I remember over covid BC opened some things up to collaborate / make a standard open source option that could be used across Canada and elsewhere.

Not that I have the experience to contribute, for me it’s just cool to see
