11/22/63, Stephen King. A departure from horror for him. Fascinating speculative fiction/alt history: What if JFK were not assassinated? Also, a beautiful side love story which captivated me, a non-romance reader. 849 pages.

The Third Person, Emma Grove. Graphic novel. Story pieces together how the author navigated the difficulties of transitioning, and of the required therapy which goes with it, which revealed that she had dissociative identity disorder. Frank, tender, illuminating, impactful. 889 pages. Available in e-book format.

Wayward, Chuck Wendig. Totally engrossing post-apocalyptic story.

A Short History of Nearly Everything, Bill Bryson. Absolute stunning classic. 694 pages, but you'll fly through it.
