@bibliolater @bookstodon usually nothing. I generally prefer reading in quiet. I get distracted too easily

@bibliolater @bookstodon Almost always. Mostly instrumental music, often pianomusic. Depending on my mood and the book: jazz (for instance Keith Jarrett), classical (from Bach, Beethoven, Schubert to Messiaen to Adams) or neo-classical/ambient (for instance Nils Frahm).

@bibliolater @bookstodon Rarely. If, then easy classical, maybe something Bachesque or Debussyesque, but no fixed preferences. I often write down something when reading/studying, so no need for background sounds, and silence is fine.

@bibliolater @bookstodon I normally don't, but when the mood to do seizes me, I tend to go with Beethoven symphonies 5-8
