Apple watch activity sync issue

Hi! I just want to ask if this is an issue with apple watch os 10.1

I have an apple watch that does not display any activity by friends. I do see their activities on my iphone, but it is not reflecting on the watch (my friends activity rings do not reflect. But mine does on the watch)

If this is not an os issue, how to i fix this?

Was able to solve it:

Restart iphone, then restart apple watch.

It might have been caused by the software update.

It probably was. The activity sharing part of the Fitness app sometimes won’t work if some users have a different version of iOS than you do. It will now warn you about this when sharing your data for the first time.
