rimlogger, in Which browser do you use on MacOS?

I used Microsoft Edge when I had a Mac.

feifei, in I’m working on a new mobile Lemmy client for iOS and android

Same code base for both ecosystems? Then one of the apps will suffer in UI and UX, because they have different design paradigms. A iOS user won’t prefer an app with an android UI.

kimagure,

Yeah, my bank used a similar code base for iOS and Android app. Android app UX is really pita because I only can move back with back button on top left and not with gestures

Keep us updated! Really liking Lemmy out of all the options so far.

gds, in Which browser do you use on MacOS?

Firefox. Adblocking options aren't that good in Safari, Chrome is soon to ruin adblockers, and I trust Mozilla's intentions more than I do Brave's.

Firefox is awesome now, you should try it!

EmptyRadar, in Which browser do you use on MacOS?

When it comes to personal stuff I only use Firefox, regardless of device. But as a web developer I end up having to use them all at various times, and Safari isn't too bad.

aarioch, in Which browser do you use on MacOS?

All Safari for me

Luxsidus, in Which browser do you use on MacOS?

Firefox!

MicroWave, in iPhone's Screen Distance Feature on iOS 17 Can Help Reduce Eye Strain
@MicroWave@lemmy.world avatar

I could use this reminder too

iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 include a new Screen Distance feature that can alert you when you hold an iPhone or iPad too close to your eyes for an extended period. Apple says the opt-in feature is designed to help lower the risk of nearsightedness in children by encouraging healthy viewing habits, and can help reduce eye strain overall.
