Hi, its TheAnonymouseJoker! I am a veteran Android user besides being a privacy advocate and data archivist....
80% of the articles in my discover feed are so obviously clickbait i feel like I’m back on 2010 Facebook… Like “Scientists worked on a new beverage for 10 years, what they discovered will shock you” or things like “These three daily exercise will get you mean in one week”. It’s so obvious and low quality, does...
I’m going on a trip soon and trying to get myself some things to do. What Android games should I play? Obviously not some cash grab games but something proper. My most played games are Kerbal Space Program, Minecraft, Stormworks, Red dead Redemption 2, Forza Horizon 5, Farming Simulator 19 and 22 and BeamNG. I’m thinking of...

Right now all I do is do a Google Takeout every so often, but that’s inefficient as...
Here’s an alphabetical list of Lemmy apps for Android. This list will be updated as new apps come out!...
I use one called X-Plore. It’s actually very good. Even has a WiFi server, conpressed archive support, etc. but the downsides are that it’s close sourced and some features are behind a paywall (though IMO they are worth it)....
My old phone’s battery has given up the ghost. Can someone recommend a current generation smartphone, preferably Android, that strikes a good balance between usability and privacy? I’m also fine with an Android phone that’s not that great with privacy out of the box, but has good support for third party ROMs like Lineage...
