@theautisticcoach@actuallyautistic For a few years now it's been Go (the board game; my recent hobby has been writing parsers for game records) and soccer (specifically, MLS and my local team Minnesota United). But I'm starting to come up on that point where obsessions rollover, so who knows what's next.
Stories! Writing stories! Finding characters and events in my mind, figuring out who they really are, what they want, what happens, and putting words to that, so they become tangible and real in the mind of the person who reads about them. golden retriever energy
Also this little pebble that I found, it's so pretty and I love staring at it and it will feature prominently in the story I am currently working on.

It seems to be happening in the community as well helping each other to overcome boundaries not previously faced, it seems much more collaborative form of art to me. Just curious!
@theautisticcoach@actuallyautistic I concur! 😀 I'm obsessed with Judaism and Jewish history as a whole, but especially praying in Hebrew (and the Hebrew language specifically). I love the ways Jewish theology plays with its sacred texts, and how argument is central to finding the truth. As for the Hebrew Bible - whew! The Song of Songs and its ancient erotica. Jonah and its deadly serious humor. The theme of creation, especially in Genesis, Psalms, Job, and some of the prophets. I could go on and on. (Full disclosure, I am a Christian from an interreligious family, and have been a member of an extremely welcoming Reform synagogue for the past 5 years. It's my faith community now.)
