I agree that assuming default rules is fraught, and not the way forward. It's better to cultivate an attitude of willingness to understand and adapt as needed. No defaults, just good faith willingness to flex, because no one can predict what will or won't work for everyone. To me this is a neurodiversity principle @TeacherGriff@autism101@actuallyautistic
