Thanks! It wouldn't be hard to cut out gluten for a week to see what happens. I know I don't have coeliac disease, but I understand that a negative coeliac test doesn't rule out an intolerance.
I'm not sure Mrs Wife would be happy to live without onions and garlic. 😟
