Hello peoples....
My GP has given me an Adult "ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) Symptom Checklist" as part of trying to get medication prescribed.
Some questions ask about social interactions, but my answers will be impacted by my ASC1 ( ) traits (Questions 15, 17 and 18 just seem like they would be too rude to do.)
Is that likely to impact my NHS diagnosis?

@theaardvark @actuallyadhd @actuallyautistic I'm AuDHD, too. This test seriously confused me when I took it.

I spent a great deal of effort, and most of my life learning how to mask many of these behaviors around others, and to get around many of these problems.

Do I mark "never", because I don't do them anymore, thanks to decades of effort, or "very often" because I naturally would have?

The wording in about half of them ask what you TEND to do (or have trouble with internally), and the other half ask what you DO do.

I suspect whoever made this thing up was neurotypical.

It maybe that these things are taken in to account when reviewing the checklist, but it could also be that I don't get the medication I'd like to try because the AuDHD symptoms don't match their (I worry) simplistic definitions. Gaah!

I find these tests confusing - always have.
