@elmyra@academicchatter their request sounds like a line that recruiters often include in unsolicited messages: "if you aren't interested, please pass this on to anyone else you know who might be", which reads to me as "please save me the effort of spamming even more people by making yourself the spammer".
Sending it to somebody else might be interpreted as an endorsement of the system, so were I in your position, I wouldn't recommend other people to them.
