Nobody. No matter who the president is, they never hold their promises and the real leaders are the oligarchies that pays both democrats and republicans. So no matters who becomes president, it's never a win for the citizens.

They keep promising things that require congressional support. But the problem is if they didn't make those kinds of promises, the other guy would and voters would reward that. It's pretty fucked.

If you think that is unacceptably weird, then you seen nothing. Though the portion of people who can afford such costumes that start at 20k and are into adult roleplaying with that is tiny.

It is kinda weird because whats the difference between that and zoophilia? Though I dont really give a fuck what people do or think, I dont "hate" anyone for being anything

Andrew Yang had me more interested in political activity than I've ever been before.

Unfortunately he's devolved quite a bit over the last few years, but his concerns around AI have certainly come to fruition recently.

Start a nonprofit open source IoT hardware company. Internet-connected smart devices and appliances are cool, but not the way they are implemented now. I'd base everything on common hobby chips like ESP32, AVR, and STM32. Every single device would have a completely unlocked firmware upload port.

Yeahh...but there's no documentation, no schematics, and no legal ability to take the design and modify and redistribute it. That's what I want to change. I want to create the Linux of IoT.

However, the media tends to marginalize third-party candidates.

  1. Who is not part of, or connected to the U.S political ruling family elites
  2. Who has actual political program with solutions that extend beyond debate soundbites
  3. Who is not a celebrity, TV/Movie star
  4. Who is not older than 60.

    At 2020 debates I rooted for Elizabeth Warren. I live on the other side of the world and know nothing about american politics, but still think she would've been great president.

    without a doubt, bernie would have been amazing in 2016, but he has inspired a significant revival of left-ish leaning, socially aware young politicians and citizenry - so there is that. as others have said, jon stewart and stephen colbert for some sane comic relief would be interesting.

    looking for some serious reponses as well so I can research and follow.
