Just a quick hobby + learning project. If people are interested I am happy to post more pics. PLA exterior + TPU seals + Nylon (COPA) bushings....
The large bolts are 1/2in (eq ~12mm), the smaller are M8. The lower section is expandable. There is a space between the low and mid sections that clamps the metal sheet and (mostly) prevents it from folding due to stresses from dies. There is an X beam support somewhere around here that is supposed to go on top to prevent...
A set of radius gauges from 1mm to 40mm have been one of the tools I use the most for functional print design....
Was using the bottle that came with my Creality Halot One, it was flesh colored. Tried a test with the basic AnyCubic. Came out better than the Creality by far....
Just another older project. IIRC it is a Yagi based on a thingiverse project that was based on an antenna designed by the YouTuber Andrew McNeil. I modified everything about the design and integrated the enclosure and stand. It works well enough to get a signal from my driveway when I used to have trouble just within the house.
Hot plate went and I tried replacing the thermistor. Then I moved on to replacing the power cables but I think I fucked up and ruined the bed. This solder is not coming up. I don’t even want to remove it all I just want to get the copper cable that’s underneath it. Am I screwed. Does anybody know where to get anog Sovol SV01...
I don’t have a small hand, this is just wide angle and a very big pickaxe.
I spent entirely way too much time trying to get one of these style extruders on my Ender 3. Maybe I picked a knock off without realizing it, maybe mine was just defective, I’m not entirely sure....
Next step is learning to use filler, sanding, and painting
Assistive tech for people that have trouble holding forks/spoons/etc. Made from my favorite lesser known material, polyhydroxyalkanoates, which is fully biodegradable in any biome. Anyone else making AT for people?
Mouse I printed on my Photon mono 4K. SLA is a learning curve for sure! I had LOTS of failures trying to print this.
I hope the 3D Printing community welcomes other CNC tools. This is a project I made on my custom-built laser table, utilizing “Living Hinges” aka “Torsion Lattice Hinges”. They’re a really neat mechanism that allows for a variety of different arrays or “lattices” of shapes that facilitate bending–and of-course...
When you design several features you don’t need and still haven’t used…...
The #3DBenchy model usually capsizes in water, but I found that with the right slicer settings, it will actually float upright: www.thingiverse.com/thing:6076719
This system can be adjusted and securely locked in place. This example is a M42 2mmp. A printed tool fits the clamp collar outer spline to adjust tension on a bicycle crank while the base is attached to the crank spindle....
Just finished building this beast. It’s a ratrig Vcore 3.1 with a 500x500x500mm build volume and blazing speed.
Still going through my included bottle of resin, they sent me flesh color. This is my first venture into resin printing. Ive been FDM printing for years now, have a few Ender 3s....
First post on Fedi/image post test/let’s get this community churning!...
