When something sucks at such a high level, people will warp their viewpoints over what caused it. Disney’s failure was putting its faith in tentpoles, and when fatigue set in, they had no plan b.
I mean, Marvel and Star Wars do both suck under Disney, and in fact Disney has been the leading horse in Hollywood’s decline over the past 10 years. But it doesn’t really have anything to do with “wokeness”, moreso bad writing and painting critics of said bad writing as racists/sexists just bc of ppl like this guy
This post is ripped almost verbatim from a YouTube video analyzing the DC film franchise declining revenue and in particular the terrible showings for the two Marvel films. I think he touches on Star Wars, too.
The post is pitiful in two ways: first, because they’re completely unoriginal, and need to plagarize their thoughts. Second, because they ascribe a boringly incel interpretation that The Critical Drinker doesn’t inject.
These grain-of-truth fucks are quickly becoming my most hated group, rivaling dogmatic hypocrites.
