Rolando, 7 months ago What Miyazaki hates is greed. Great commentary, but “greed” is a bit simplistic. Both Castle in the Sky and Porco Rosso have greedy pirates as comedic characters rather than villians. I think it’s closer to say that his films explore the many ways that technology can be misused.
